Lately I have been craving my whey powder recovery drink, and my mentality (logic) is pretty simple. No work-out, no recovery drink.
It tastes even better than the yummiest milkshake out there. I use strawberries, frozen blueberries, and raspberries. Whey powder (mine’s vanilla flavoured, and was hella expensive), and water. It’s so simple, but yummy. I also sometimes add in sour cherry concentrate, but not always. The cherry concentrate is also quiet pricey. From Pick n Pay (and it’s hard to find, as only limited Pick n Pays in the whole of Gauteng have it).
Does anyone else notice that once they get into the swing of things (workout wise), they tend to crave their recovery drink?
Even without working out?
